Local Events & Information for May 2009

• 4th May: St Margaret's Church Fair

• 9th, 10th & 17th May: Rottingdean Windmill Open Days

• May 9th: Concert at St. Laurence Church: 5:30pm
Erika Schilsky and Glen Capra, Oboe and Piano. Programme to include Poulenc Sonata and Kalliwoda Morceaux de Salon.

• 16th May: Deans Festival Funday 11am to 4pm at Woodingdean Primary School.
Run by five primary schools in the area, to provide fun for all the family with traditional and modern funday themes. Have a break from the Art and keep the children happy.

• May 23rd: Concert at St. Laurence Church: 5:30pm
Wax on Wax off: Performing their own pieces-Tai Chi and Barney play percussion duets with a quirky edge to entertain you all.

• Deadline 18th April. Art Competition for young people. Entries are invited in 3 age groups: 7 and under, 8 to 13 and 14 to 18. Prizes will be awarded to the winners and all shortlisted work will be exhibited as part of the "Art and Soul at Falmer" show. Full details from: sue28B@aol.com
