Rottingdean and Downs Artists Trail

Rottingdean and Downs Artists welcome you

ARTISTS OPEN HOUSES will be Open again in May 2010 - watch this site for details.

AOH - The Rottingdean and Downs Artists Open House Trail for May 2009, was 11 venues representing the work of about 100 artists which runs during the Brighton Festival. The Rottingdean and Downs trail had venues in Rottingdean, Roedean, Ovingdean, Woodingdean and Falmer Villages. These included churchs, a school, a shop, a gallery and artists houses with a wide range of work on show. The Houses are closed to visitors for another year, but they will all be happy to hear from you, if you are searching for something special. Many will be open again in May 2010 plus a few new faces.

This trail has the advantage of very easy parking for all the houses, so there is no reason not to explore these venues. Combine your visit with a walk along the Undercliff, Downs or Falmer Pond and a meal in Rottingdean and make it a real day out. Also, many of the houses offered refreshments, Cakes, Drinks, etc. to keep you going. And some offered Music in the Garden!
